about us

“To share this vulnerable space of mine is just like the first jump off of the plane- its terrifying, but once you open your eyes, you see the insane beauty from a new perspective.”- Katarina

My Mission

Creating a space with horses where you can slow down, feel supported, and move through whatever you’re holding-at your own space.

My Values

I value honoring and having deep respect for both horse and human. In the space, we remember who we are beneath the noise and we come home to ourselves.

“I didn’t know what to expect going in, but this experience completely opened something in me. Katarina holds such a genuine and intuitive space, and the horses reflect things you didn’t even realize you were carrying. It felt both grounding and moving. I walked away with a sense of clarity and peace I hadn’t felt in a long time.”

About me.

Katarina Niemi

I come from a big deeply connected family – One of 11 children. Our lives changed forever in 2008 when our youngest brother Joseph passed away at 3 months. Mom started growing flowers for therapy through the tough times, and we have spent every spring since then in the greenhouses. Nowadays, at our farm we offer beautiful seedlings, hanging baskets, fresh finnish baked goods and our Scandinavian Christmas market.

We could have never imagined how our farm would blossom into this beautiful place. This Niemi Family Farm home of mine, has transformed our family to being the tight knit family we are, and creating entrepreneurs of us all.

In 2020, I took a course for Equine Assisted Learning, and I fell in love. I was drawn to the powerful impact horses can have on personal growth. But over time, I realized I was craving something deeper- something that went beyone surface-level breakthroughs, and allowing the horse to have more leadership in the space. I wanted to explore the emotional, and transformative layers that the horses naturally access.

That desire led me toward horse medicine—work that honors the depth, intuition, and profound healing potential that exists within the relationship between humans and horses.

To share this love I have deeply rooted into my being, is the equivalent of asking myself to jump off of a plane. The crazy thing is that I have actually been skydiving two times and would do it again. To share this vulnerable space is just like the first jump off of the plane- its terrifying but once you open your eyes, you see the insane beauty from a new perspective.
